What Brand Finance brand value measures
Brand value is an estimate of the economic value attributable to a brand asset. Brand Finance uses the Royalty Relief approach: it measures brand strength, determines an appropriate sector royalty range, estimates brand-specific revenues, applies a royalty rate and discounts post-tax brand revenues to present value.
Brand value is not the same as company value. Market capitalization measures the equity value of a listed company, while this ranking isolates the estimated economic value of the brand asset. A corporation can own several separately valued brands.
Brand Finance reported that all 500 brands in its 2026 ranking were worth about $10.4 trillion combined. The table below covers only ranks 1–100. Other brand valuation systems can produce materially different rankings because their methodologies differ; for example, Kantar BrandZ ranks Google first in its 2026 Global Top 100.
Data status: Every row is a published 2026 industry valuation from Brand Finance. StatRanker does not create or forecast the brand values shown here. Brand Finance’s valuation model itself uses assumptions and forecast revenues as part of its Royalty Relief methodology.

Values are displayed in USD billions to three decimals. The raw source unit is USD millions. Rank is descending from the raw 2026 Brand Finance brand value.
Chart: Top 20 Brands in Brand Finance Global 500 2026
The chart uses exactly the same raw USD-million values as the ranking table. Apple is the 100% reference bar; every other bar is scaled to Apple’s published 2026 brand value.
Methodology
The metric is 2026 brand value as published in Brand Finance Global 500 2026. The ranking direction is descending: the larger the brand value, the higher the rank. StatRanker does not revalue any brand and does not create a 2026 forecast from earlier data.
Metric and unit
Metric: monetary brand value. Brand Finance publishes the ranking in USD millions. This page stores the raw USD-million figure in each row and divides by 1,000 only for the displayed USD-billion label.
Coverage and inclusion
Included: ranks 1 through 100 from the published Global 500 2026 table, with brand, country, sector and 2026 value confirmed. Excluded: ranks 101 through 500 because this page is specifically a Top 100 ranking.
Value status
All 100 rows are published industry valuations from Brand Finance. StatRanker does not calculate, forecast or model the individual 2026 brand values in this ranking.
Country labels
Country labels follow the Brand Finance table as published. StatRanker does not independently reclassify a brand’s country field, so filters reproduce the source taxonomy rather than applying a separate geopolitical or corporate-domicile rule.
Brand Finance’s Royalty Relief methodology uses a Brand Strength Index, sector royalty ranges, brand-specific revenue estimates, forecast revenues and discounting. The published 2026 figures are therefore standardized valuation estimates, not directly reported balance-sheet assets or market prices.
Rounding rule: source values remain whole USD millions in the raw table. Display values equal source USDm divided by 1,000 and are shown to three decimal places. Ranking uses the raw source values, not rounded display labels. Page-level totals and shares are simple arithmetic calculated from the published rows and do not represent additional brand valuations.
Comparison limit: Brand Finance and Kantar BrandZ use different brand valuation frameworks, so their 2026 rankings and monetary values should not be treated as interchangeable. This page ranks brands only by Brand Finance Global 500 2026 values. The metric does not measure company size, profit, market capitalization, enterprise value, revenue, customer count or accounting goodwill.

How to interpret this brand value ranking
Use the table to compare brand assets under one Brand Finance valuation framework. Do not read it as a ranking of whole-company value or financial strength: brand value is one intangible component of a business and depends on assumptions about brand strength, royalty rates, revenues and discounting.
For company-scale comparisons, use the separate StatRanker rankings for companies by market capitalization, companies by revenue and companies by number of employees. Those metrics answer different questions and should not be substituted for brand value.
